Saving for college with the College Savings Plans of Maryland is easy. Just follow these simple steps.

  1. Read the entire Enrollment Kit before deciding to enroll. The Kit can be:
    1. Viewed online 
    2. Obtained by mail 
  2. Complete your enrollment in either or both Plans.

To enroll in the Prepaid College Trust:

  • Choose a tuition plan for your desired number of semesters or years of college.
  • Choose the payment plan that best fits your family’s budget.

Enroll Online. Online enrollment requires a credit card for the enrollment fee(s). Please note that credit cards cannot be used to make any other payments besides the enrollment fee(s).

OR

Enroll by completing and mailing a paper enrollment form. This form can be obtained by either:

  1. Viewing the enrollment kit online and printing the enrollment form; or
  2. Requesting an enrollment kit by mail which includes an enrollment form.

For the Maryland College Investment Plan, enrollment is open year-round:

  • Choose one or more investment options.
  • Choose how much and how often you wish to contribute.
